Jan Kelly, RN, BSN, DSD
Inservice Educator

Jan graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1970. While enjoying her career as a nurse, Jan found that she also had a penchant for educating and achieved certification for both Director of Staff Development and CNA Instruction. She received her Teaching Credential from San Jose State University in 2001.

In her 39 years of Nursing experience, she has worked in many areas of the medical world including I.C.U. , Coronary Care Units and the Emergency Room as the Director of Nurses and Director of Staff Education.   She also holds valuable experience as a Staff Nurse, Advice Nurse and Nurse Educator through Kaiser Permanente.  In addition to her vast hospital experience, Jan has also been able to lend her instructional and organizational talents to non-profit organizations such as Las Trampas and The Diablo Respite Center. 

Jan joined Eldercare Services as a Care Manager in 2003. As the Inservice Educator, she is responsible for the orientation and on-going trainings of all caregivers at Eldercare Services. She has served the senior population for over 18 years. Her specialties are teaching and supporting seniors.

In her spare time, Jan enjoys music, reading, traveling and creative flower arranging.
