Positive Aging: Are all Your Ducks in Order?

Eldercare Linda ALCAThe last chapter of our lives can be the best. It does take planning, some attention to health-promoting activities, and eliminating stress. Come and discover. . .are all your ducks in order to be as stress-free as possible heading into the New Year? We will explore four major principles to keep you healthy as well as some documents you will need to have life “your way.” The speaker has been working with older adults and their families for more than 34 years and is an expert in aging well.

A licensed family therapist and professional Certified Care Manager since 1984, Linda Fodrini-Johnson is the founder of Eldercare Services, a full-service care agency in the San Francisco Bay Area. Eldercare has been providing care management, home care/caregiving services, advocacy, counseling, support groups and education since 1989.

Prior to private practice, Linda was the director of the first Dementia Respite Program in the East Bay, where she envisioned and created a unique program for individuals in the early stages of dementia. Linda currently serves on the Lamorinda Village Task Force, which enables seniors to live at home.

This program is presented by Merrill Gardens and Lamorinda Village.
