Caring from the heart and keeping a balance is a challenge for most of us with aging parents. Community Presbyterian Church in Danville will be offering a 4-week series on information necessary to empower families in caring for aging family members now or in the future. Making decisions with love and keeping an equilibrium for all the family will be our goal. Discussion to include:
Aging statistics, health issues, entitlements, resources and emotional dilemmas for families/elders, resistance to care, a checklist of information families should gather before the crisis and more. Ample time will be made available to discuss concerns with speakers after each session. Cost for the entire series: $20/individual or $30/couple or 2 people from the same family.
