Eldercare Services Names Karen Mudd as Director of Marketing and Business Development
Walnut Creek, CA – (August 20, 2013) Eldercare Services is proud to announce the addition of Karen Mudd as Director of Marketing and Business Development.
Karen brings over 25 years of experience in marketing, communications, community relations and business development. As a new Director, Ms. Mudd is responsible for the development and execution of business development, marketing and outreach strategies to fulfill the goals and objectives of the strategic plan for Eldercare Services.
Previously Karen was the Director of Marketing & Communications at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital for 13 years, where she was responsible for marketing, communications, volunteer services, public relations and community benefit activities. Prior to joining Eldercare Services, Karen worked with Interim Healthcare as their Community Outreach Manager.
In addition to her outstanding marketing experience, Karen is a volunteer spokesperson for Sandra J. Wing Therapies Foundation and a volunteer for Lazarex Cancer Foundation. She is a member of the Pleasanton Chamber’s “Chamber Chatter’s” Toastmasters and of the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and Sunrise Alliance B2B Group.
Prior to relocating, Ms. Mudd served on the Executive Committee Board as Marketing Vice President for the Tracy Chamber of Commerce, as Treasurer and Spokesperson of the Tracy Women’s Association and was President of the Tracy Toastmasters.
Ms. Mudd received the Tracy’s Women’s Association “Woman of the Year” award and was recognized as West Coast Region’s “Rookie Sales Person of the Year” at 3M Sound Division.
