Eldercare Services is pleased to announce that Founder and Executive Director Linda Fodrini‐Johnson, MA, MFT, CMC, is the recipient of the 2014 Western Region Geriatric Care Management (WRGCM)President’s Award for “Outstanding Mentorship”.
This award is given annually by NAPGCM’s Western Chapter and bestowed upon a member who has made an impact – on both the president’s career and on the association. This year, President Lisa Mayfield chose to honor Linda Fodrini-Johnson for her great influence and inspiration.
After listening to a tape – made by Linda for the NAPGCM – about starting a care management business, Lisa Mayfield was so impressed by Linda’s values and wisdom that she hired Linda to be her mentor and coach. Linda mentored her for the next 5 years, until Lisa found a partner and expanded her own solo practice.
President Mayfield presented this award to both Linda, and to Jullie Gray, her business partner and the current past President of NAPGCM , on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 at the Western Chapter’s annual conference in Long Beach, CA.
“It was one small way I could thank [Linda] for all of [her] help, support, guidance and cheerleading,” said President Mayfield.
Linda graciously accepted the award and expressed her heart-felt thanks: “This is so special and will be my most cherished memory from my activities in NAPGCM. I think one of the activities I will treasure the most is of being a link between wonderful people and helping them achieve the success that is all theirs!”
