Saturday, September 24th is the Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, to be held in San Francisco, sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association. The Association is dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments, and an eventual cure for Alzheimer’s. At Eldercare Services, we too support this mission and have again formed a team of walkers to raise funds and show our support for this very worthwhile cause.
We are excited to have this team and are encouraging our staff, caregivers, and friends to join us on the Embarcadero in San Francisco for this 3-mile trek. It is our team goal to raise $5,000 for Alzheimer’s disease research. To reach this goal we are asking for your support.
We would be honored if you would join our team and walk with us. If you are unable to make the walk but still want to make a difference, you can show your support through a financial contribution of any size to the Alzheimer’s Association. Enclosed find our walker sign-up information and donation sheet. For the internet savvy, our team information, registration and donation links can be found here.
For more information, call our Team Captain, Danielle Getchman at 925-937-2018.
By actively participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, we hope to demonstrate our commitment to finding a cure and supporting those affected by the disease. When we come together as a team on this day, as every day, we know we can all take a giant step toward the Alzheimer Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.
Thank you for your support.
